I am a neurobiologist with special interest in behaviour, brain plasticity and epigenetics. My study organisms are honey bees (Apis mellifera). Bees are very smart creatures and a great model system for understanding behavioural plasticity. Plus, they produce honey. Perks of a bee researcher!
Additionally I am working with the powerfull genetic model organism Drosophila melanogaster. Using fruit flies I aim to investigate the role of complex regulatory networks in behavioural plasticity.
On this website I talk about my research activities and the science I am interested in.
Thanks for visiting!
